Your privacy matters to WhatAreWeWearing Inc. (“www,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use or access the WhatAreWeWearing website, web application, or mobile application (individually and collectively, the “Service”), how we use that information, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because we respect your time. Our Terms of Use are expressly incorporated into this Privacy Policy, and we encourage you to review that document, as well.

By using the Service or interacting with us, you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

Who We Are

We are a social technology company headquartered in Smyrna, Georgia. We operate the Service, accessible at getwww.app.

What We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the Service.

Information you provide:

  • Name, username, password, email address, and profile photo when you create a Service account
  • Style preferences, size, budget, and aesthetic inputs you enter while using the Service
  • Event details you create while using the Service, including but not limited to event name, occasion type, and guest list
  • Content you post in event feeds while using the Service, including but not limited to photos, comments, and links
  • Contact information you choose to provide when corresponding with us by phone, email, or our Service support functions; when otherwise visiting or interacting with the Service; or when interacting with us on our social media pages
  • Transactional data, including your payment information and any other data necessary to complete your transactions. All credit card information is stored by a third-party payment processor selected by us, from time to time, and such payment services are governed by such third-party payment processor’s terms of service and privacy policy. For the avoidance of doubt, your credit card information is never stored by us or on our servers.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device information, operating system, browser information, IP address, domain name, referring pages, and outbound pages
  • App usage data (date and time stamp for your visit, features used, pages viewed, session duration)
  • Items saved, shared, or clicked within the Service
  • General location (country/region level only, not precise GPS)
  • Metadata when you upload content to the Service, which can describe how, when, and by whom the content was collected and how the content is formatted. It also includes information, such as your account name, that enables other users to trace the content back to your user account
  • Crash and error information if the Service crashes or returns an error so that we may determine the cause of the error. This information may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, application configuration(s), the time and date, and other statistics
  • Cookies (small pieces of information sent to your computer’s hard drive to collect technical information) about your IP address, browser type, operating system, device type and identifiers, platform type, as well as your usage of and activity on and the performance of our Service, which help us make the Service more useful to you, tailor your experience of the Service, and meet your interests and expectations
  • Information regarding visitor behavior and visitor demographics on the Service from Google Analytics and other service providers. For more information about Google Analytics, please visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners. You can opt out of Google’s collection and processing of data generated by your use of the Service by going to http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect:

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • To generate personalized outfit picks from our affiliate partner brands through the Poppy AI feature of the Service. Poppy sends your style inputs to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate outfit recommendations. We do not store your inputs beyond what is necessary to display your results. Anthropic’s privacy policy governs how they handle API data. You can review the policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
  • To enable event groups, social feeds, and guest coordination features
  • To send app notifications and updates (only with your permission)
  • To analyze usage patterns to improve the product experience
  • To help us detect abuse, fraud, and illegal activity on the Service
  • To enforce our Terms, conditions, and policies
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To combine the information we collect or receive about you for any of the foregoing purposes and
  • For any other purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect your information or pursuant to your consent

We may aggregate and/or de-identify information collected through the Service and from other sources (“Aggregate/De-Identified Information”) so that such information can no longer be linked to you or your device. We may use Aggregate/De-Identified Information for any purpose, including, without limitation, for research and marketing purposes.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. Ever. We may share information with the following parties and in the following situations:

  • Affiliate brand partners — when you click through to purchase an item recommended by the Service, the brand’s affiliate tracking system records the referral. We share only the minimum data required for commission tracking (no personal profile data)
  • Service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate the app, including, for example, hosting, analytics, customer support, and AI style recommendations
  • Payment processors — when you make purchases through the Service, the billing information you enter is processed by a third-party payment processor. If you make payments through our website, payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor of our choice in compliance with the third-party payment processor’s privacy policy. If you make payments through our iOS mobile application, payments will be charged to your Apple ID account in compliance with Apple’s privacy policy. If you make payments through our Android mobile application, payments will be charged to your Google Play account in compliance with Google’s privacy policy. At no time do we have access to your payment information, and we have no control over and are not responsible for how Apple, Google, or any other third-party payment processor uses your payment information. Please view the applicable third-party payment processor’s privacy policy prior to submitting your payment information.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users
  • Business transfers — if we are acquired by or merge with another company, your information may transfer as part of that transaction
  • Aggregate / De-Identified Information — From time to time, we may share Aggregate/De-Identified Information about use of the Service. The sharing of such data is unrestricted.

Your Choices & Rights

You have control over your information:

  • Access & correct your information — you can view and update your profile information at any time within the app
  • Delete your account — you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at caitlin@getwww.app. Your account will be deleted within thirty (30) days. Please note that if you have requested your account to be deleted, we will delete the subsequent personal data you have supplied us. Note that search engines, as well as third parties, can keep copies of your publicly available information once your account has been deleted.
  • Manage notifications — you can manage push notification preferences in your device settings
  • Opt out of analytics — contact us at caitlin@getwww.app to opt out of usage analytics collection

Europe-Specific Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interest as described in this Privacy Policy to process your personal information. Additionally, subject to any exemptions as provided by law, you may have certain rights regarding the personal information we maintain about you. We offer you certain choices about what personal information we collect from you, how we use that information, and how we communicate with you.   • You may have the right to be informed of and request access to the personal data we process about you
  • You may request to update or correct the personal information we maintain for you
  • You may request deletion of your personal information. We may ask you for additional information to verify your identity and will process your request subject to and in accordance with the law
  • You may request that we temporarily or permanently stop processing all or some of your personal data
  • You may object to us processing your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation, object to your personal data being processed for direct marketing purposes, and refuse to receive service notifications via email
  • You may request to transfer your personal information
  • You may have the right to not be subject to a decision based solely on automated decision-making, including profiling, where the decision would have a legal effect on you or produce a similarly significant effect
  • If you have concerns about our privacy practices, including the way we handle or have your personal data, you can lodge a complaint regarding how we collect and process your personal information to your local Data Protection Authority, if you are in the EEA or Switzerland, or to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are in the United Kingdom

State-Specific Rights for Residents of Certain U.S. States

If you are a U.S. resident, we process your personal data in accordance with applicable U.S. state data privacy laws. Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Montana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia), you may be entitled to certain rights with respect to your personal information, as further described in Exhibit A.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at caitlin@getwww.app and we will delete that information promptly.

Users between 13 and 17 may use the app only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Sensitive Personal Data

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (“racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation,” etc.). Please consult Art. 9 GDPR for more information. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately so that we can either obtain special consent or delete the information.

Information Retention

We will retain personal information required to comply with privacy requests, manage active accounts, as required by law, in order to resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. We will retain the personal information we process on behalf of our users as directed by them. We may also retain copies of your personal information for disaster recovery purposes, to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of Aggregate/De-Identified Information, account recovery, and auditing our records.

Data Processing and Data Transfer

Your information, including personal information, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including personal information, to the United States and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer. We will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your personal information will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your personal information and other information.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately at caitlin@getwww.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how the app is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling cookies may affect some app functionality.

Affiliate links within the Service use tracking pixels and cookies to attribute purchases to us for commission purposes. This is standard affiliate commerce practice and does not involve sharing your personal profile with brands.

The Service may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by us (“Third-Party Sites”). The information that you share with Third-Party Sites will be governed by the specific privacy policies and terms of service of the Third-Party Sites and not by this Privacy Policy. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes to this page and encourage you to review it regularly to stay informed. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you disagree with the changes to this Privacy Policy, you should deactivate your Service account.

If you are a Nevada resident, under the Privacy and Security of Personal Information Chapter of the Nevada Revised Statutes Section 603A, we are required to provide you with the following:

  • (i)We may collect certain covered information (as defined under Nevada Law) when you use the Service, including, but not limited to first and last name, home or other physical address, e-mail address, and telephone number;
  • (ii)We may share your covered information to third parties as described in the “Sharing Your Information” section; and
  • (iii)Third parties may collect covered information about your online activities over time and across different internet websites or online websites when you use the Service.

Under Nevada law, certain Nevada consumers may opt-out of the sale of “personally identifiable information” for monetary consideration (as such terms are defined under Nevada law) to a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. We do not engage in such activity; however, if you are a Nevada resident who has provided “personally identifiable information” to us via the Service, you may submit a request to opt-out of any potential future sales under Nevada law by contacting us at caitlin@getwww.app. Please note we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request. Once verified, we will maintain your request in the event our practices change.

If you are a New Hampshire resident, pursuant to Title LII, Chapter 507-H: Expectation of Privacy of the New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated, we must share with you that:
